Jenny has just released a new strip featuring a new character and ending happily.
Jenny told us that she is aware that her comics are difficult to read. “I know that and I read a lot about how close they get to people.” For this reason, she stated that she wanted “to try and give her fans something that would cheer them up” and not bring them sad.
As a result, she came up with the idea to create this fox comic strip, her first “happy” work. Jenny first questioned whether “people would like this new approach, especially by introducing the new character, ‘Life.'” Meanwhile, she found it quite exhilarating to see her melancholy series in a whole new light.
The new figure named “Life” was actually inspired by the Reaper, for whom Jenny always felt sorry because he has “a sad and lonely job.” She said: “Although he has a friendly and gentle nature, he often gets blamed for everything and encounters hostility.”
It’s critical to recognise that the Reaper also “belongs to the circle of life.” “If anyone understands and appreciates him,” Jenny replied, “it is life itself.”
