The artist Jenny Jinya who makes people cry with her animal comics has released a new one about a swan inspired by true events. Humans are creating vaccines in record time and preparing missions to Mars, but we continue to be heartless and brutal to beautiful animals who mean no harm.
Jenny Jinya, a German artist popular online, has been working on this subject for some time.
And this story is no exception—it’s about a lonely swan who had to witness her treasured eggs being ruthlessly smashed. “I read about this a while ago, and it still breaks my heart,” Jenny commented when she posted the comic. “The only message I have here is don’t be cruel.”

These events occurred in the UK in 2020. A bunch of young guys killed the unborn cygnets by throwing rocks and bricks at them, and the mother was discovered dead earlier this week, not long after the father swan went missing, according to the Manchester Evening News.
“Even though the incident occurred last year, I read about it only recently,” Jenny told. “Like everyone else, I was astonished, indignant, and terribly sad. For weeks, it refused to let me go; in my thoughts, I kept seeing this poor, lonely swan who had lost everything.”
Witnesses say the group was headed for the island where the swans had built a nest, and three of the six eggs were broken.
Later, wildlife activists who had been monitoring the swans reported that more eggs had been lost, with only one remaining.
People were really sad to learn this had actually happened
